This is gel-backed tape you place over those spots, and the gel side is the point. It is peptide-infused rather than plain adhesive, carrying acetyl hexapeptide-8, copper tripeptide-1, oligopeptide-29, oligopeptide-32 and palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, alongside niacinamide for the look of brightness and even tone, and caffeine to help firm and tighten the skin's appearance.

Two shapes come in the kit. Oval goes on forehead lines, the vertical lines between your brows and smile lines. Winged is cut for the under-eye area, so wrinkles, creases, puffiness and crow's feet.

There is also a brightening group the brand never talks about: kojic acid, arbutin, alpha-arbutin, tranexamic acid, glutathione and sodium ascorbyl phosphate all sit in the same formula.

Minimum two hours. Overnight gives the best results. Single use, then discard.

1. Cleanse skin thoroughly and pat dry. If you use moisturizer or eye cream, let it absorb and dry completely first. Oil or cream left on the skin will stop the tape sticking.
2. Pick your shape. Oval for forehead lines, the lines between your brows and smile lines. Winged for under-eye wrinkles, creases, puffiness and crow's feet.
3. Gently lift and hold the skin taut on the area you are treating. That is what creates the smoothing effect.
4. With your other hand, carefully apply the tape, pressing and rubbing lightly to adhere the gel backing.

Leave on for at least 2 hours. Wearing it overnight will give the best results. Discard after use. For external use only.

They come from a 2-hour consumer perception study on 35 women aged 32 to 60. In it, 94 percent agreed the forehead area appeared smoother, 94 percent agreed fine lines looked relaxed and skin looked tighter, and 94 percent agreed under-eye wrinkles and puffiness appeared reduced, all after one use. That is user agreement in a small group over a short window. Individual results may vary.

How long do I wear it?
At least 2 hours. The brand says wearing it overnight gives the best results, which is also the easiest way to get the hours in.

Why does my tape keep falling off?
Almost always leftover moisturizer or eye cream. Cleanse, pat dry, and let anything you have applied absorb completely before the tape goes on.
